concerning the estimated number of guests, table arrangements, and head table
requirements may be given at this time.
Your menu requirement should be discussed with Daane's and finalized at least 6
weeks in advance. If this is not the case, some selections cannot be guaranteed.

Disposable dishes, silverware, and napkins are included with all complete dinner
buffets. Menu prices do not include fees for special services, rentals, or other
It is against Michigan State Health Department regulations to leave leftover food
if our personnel are servicing the function. If our personnel only deliver and
setup the buffet the leftover food is yours to store or dispose of. Our suggestion is
not to save any food that has been unrefrigerated for more than two hours.
Delivery and Labor
A minimal van usage fee will be applied to all deliveries and setups in
the Greater Kalamazoo area. A delivery charge will be added for orders under
$50.00 and/or outside of the Greater Kalamazoo area. This charge is based upon
mileage. Pick-up of the dishes is not included in our pricing. There is a 17%
labor charge when our personnel stay to service a buffet, which includes keeping
the buffet restocked, bussing tables, and cleaning up the buffet. On parties of
under 75 guests or parties that last longer than the usual buffet there will be an
hourly labor fee.
Cancellations must be made no later than 36 hours prior to the event to avoid a
charge. These cancellations may still be subject to food preparation and labor

We reserve the right to charge for damages or missing equipment or furnishings.
Hot foods for all non-serviced parties will be delivered in thermal warmers.
Chafing pans are available to rent for $8.50 each. 6% Michigan State Sales Tax
will be added to your total invoice.
Daane's Catering must be notified NO LATER than five workings days prior to
your event of your guaranteed guest count. We will prepare food for 5% above
this count, up to a maximum of 15 guests. Substantial increases in the final guest
count may alter the menu selection availability. You will be billed for the final
guaranteed number or the number of meals served whichever is greater. To insure
a pleasant dining experience, an accurate guest count is essential.
